The NCPA Foundation is a nonprofit, philanthropic 501(c)(3) organization established in 1953. There is no other foundation in the United States solely dedicated to research, education and public outreach on behalf of independent community pharmacy.
Improving community-based healthcare access by supporting efforts that promote the sustainability and growth of independent community pharmacists, the most accessible healthcare provider, through scholarships, grants, and ownership development.
The foundation is completely autonomous and relies on external support from individuals and corporations to maintain its far-reaching programs—including those that help develop the future leaders and entrepreneurs of the community pharmacy profession.
Since 2005, the NCPA Foundation has provided over $220,000 in disaster aid.
$30 million dollars in grants awarded to students since 1992, including $15.4 million in scholarship aid.
Over 750 students have been helped in achieving their goals through gifts to NCPA Foundation.
