Minority Rights Group (MRG) is the leading global organization working for and with ethnic, religious and linguistic minorities and indigenous peoples worldwide. We have worked with communities to achieve more equitable, inclusive and peaceful societies for over 50 years.
As well as working directly alongside minorities and indigenous peoples, we use publications, advocacy, legal work, training and more, to support them as they strive to maintain their rights – to the land they live on, the languages they speak, to equal opportunities in education and employment and to full participation in public life.

Today we work with almost 300 partners in over 60 countries. Our truly global scope is guaranteed with our offices in Kampala (Uganda) and Budapest (Hungary), as well as having regional presence in Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East and North Africa.

We are committed to amplifying the voices of minority and indigenous communities and the more people we have behind us, the louder we can be.
