Space

LunARC is building the Lunar University, humanity's first learning entity on the Moon, by 2035. We work through grassroots labs around the world, where young people and underrepresented communities reimagine how humanity governs itself. Their ideas travel to the Moon, and back to the rooms where lunar governance is being decided.

Why This Matters

The rules for who governs space, who benefits, and who decides are being written right now, mostly by a small group of governments, companies, and individual billionaires. The generation that will actually inhabit that future, and most of the world's communities, are absent from the conversation. Space offers something rare: a chance to imagine alternatives before old patterns repeat at scale. LunARC opens the room. We bring the voices most needed and least heard into the design of humanity's multiplanetary future.

Our Vision

The Moon is the one canvas free enough to imagine differently. Every system on Earth carries the weight of inherited power structures and accumulated inertia. The Moon doesn't, yet. When students in Bolivia, children in Egypt, and artists in India design governance for the Moon, something shifts. The distance strips away the reasons something can't be done. What's designed for space doesn't stay in space. The Lunar University is the destination. The labs are the path. And what we imagine there changes what's possible here.
