Our purpose and mission is to connect community based businesses’ leftover food with those in need in the Baltimore area, ultimately reducing both food waste and those who go hungry.
We achieve this mission by matching volunteers in our network to businesses in their area for picking up food donations and dropping off at local shelters, wellness centers, churches and other organizations who use this to serve their community in need.
Your donation goes directly to the organization's costs such as mileage reimbursement for volunteers, food packing materials, bags, website costs and upkeep.
Leftover Love does not have any paid staff lines and all donations benefit the organization's mission.

Summer 2024 Fundraiser
Hi Leftover Lovers! Welcome to our Summer 2024 Fundraiser! We've rescued over 13,000 lbs of leftover food so far and have relocated it to other nonprofits in the Baltimore area that help the community in need. None of this would be possible without your help. Donate, Volunteer, Connect.
We currently operate at 8 cents/lb, even better than this Spring's 14 cents/lb! 50 USD helps rescue over 500 lbs of food. Donate today! Our entire organization is volunteer based, meaning 100% of donations go towards programmatic costs of our 501c3 non-profit helping rescue leftover food for those in need. Thank you!
