Hope Foundation–BICM is a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing humanitarian assistance to underserved communities in Kenya. Our work focuses on clean water, sanitation, nutrition, education, and sustainable community infrastructure. We work with local communities, schools, village leaders, and field teams to identify needs and develop practical, long-term solutions. Our Ledero Water Project in Samburu County, established in 2016, demonstrates our long-term commitment to maintaining the projects we implement. We are currently expanding our humanitarian work through the Kalotum Primary School Water and Community Resilience Project in Turkana County, where water scarcity affects children, families, and educational opportunities. Hope Foundation–BICM is committed to transparency, responsible stewardship, community participation, and creating sustainable solutions that improve health, education, and quality of life.

Help Bring Clean Water to Kalotum Primary School
Help us bring reliable clean water to Kalotum Primary School and the surrounding community in Turkana County, Kenya. Kalotum Primary School currently has 238 enrolled students . Village elders estimate that approximately 680 children ages 5–16 live in the surrounding community. Water scarcity and hunger create serious challenges for children and families in this arid region. The school's existing hand-pump borehole is no longer functioning. Hope Foundation–BICM is working with the school, community leaders, our field team, and qualified water professionals to develop a sustainable water solution. The planned water system includes professional groundwater assessment, borehole drilling and development, test pumping, water-quality testing, solar-powered pumping, water storage, piping and distribution infrastructure. We have done this before. In 2016, Hope Foundation–BICM helped establish the Ledero Water Project in Samburu County, Kenya. That project continues to serve the school and surrounding community, and we continue supporting its maintenance today. Your donation to this fundraiser will support Hope Foundation–BICM's efforts to provide sustainable water infrastructure for Kalotum Primary School and the surrounding community.
