Hawassa Hope is a nonprofit delivering measurable change to vulnerable communities in the Sidama region of Ethiopia.
Being hope to vulnerable children and families in Ethiopia through sponsorship, children's home support, maternal care, small business grants, education and clean water projects!
- Supporting 370 children through our Community Sponsorship Program
- Completed 24+ clean water projects since 2013
- Provided maternal care to over 875 pregnant women through our Elsabet Initiative
- Operating across 17 communities
- Built and opened a primary school for vulnerable children
What Sets Us Apart: We believe in direct, transparent impact. Every dollar goes straight to life-changing programs: clean water access, education , maternal healthcare, small business grants for women, and temporary care for vulnerable children through our Ajuuja Children's Home partnership.
