HISTORY:

To be born is the beginning of hope. On February 19, 2020, we opened our eyes to the world with a clear mission: To be a refuge for those who need it most.

When our son Brandon Manuel transcended on September 28, 2021, he left us an indelible lesson. In his honor, we transformed pain into purpose. His name lives and beats in every action, in every extended hand, and in every transformed life. Fundación Brandon y Ernest A.C. — The love that transcends, helping those who need it most. The love that transcends became a legacy of hope. Thus the foundation was born, a life project inspired by Brandon Manuel, who at his scarce 13 years departed, leaving an indelible mark.

Facing together chronic renal insufficiency and visual weakness from his birth taught us the true value of empathy. Today, uniting the names that represent our greatest inspiration, we transform our pain into unconditional help for those who need it most. Our association was born from a direct and deeply human experience. As a family, we lived up close the deprivations, the uncertainty, and the exhaustion that are experienced in the public health institutions in Veracruz.

From the everyday difficulties —such as not being able to leave a patient alone or to resolve a meal— to the economic crises that are often faced alone.

We transformed that moment of vulnerability into a vocation of service. Today, our firm purpose is to ease the path of those who are going through that same trial.

Monthly, we make ourselves present at the Hospital Regional and the IMSS of the port of Veracruz. We provide comprehensive support to the family members who await news: we deliver comforting dinners, essential medicines, and small monetary donations for emergencies. We know it is only one step in a sea of needs, but we are convinced that each support eases the burden of those who need it most.

OBJECTIVES:

We transform realities, we build dignity.

In our association, we believe that access to health, development, and well-being is not a privilege, but a universal right. We are the strategic bridge that connects the most vulnerable communities—indigenous, rural/peasant, and low-income—with the solutions they need.

We do not only assist: we organize, we train, and we manage to break the cycle of marginalization. We build a future where each person has the opportunity to prosper.

Comprehensive Assistance: We provide vital support in health, nutrition, and basic resources to those who need it most.

High-Level Management: We are the strategic liaison with municipal, state, and federal authorities and we can work hand in hand with international NGOs to channel supports directly to the communities with the greatest vulnerability in our area.

MISSION:

To promote the rights and capacities of each person who is in a situation of disability and vulnerability. Such as minors, the elderly, and persons in a condition of physical and motor disability. With the aim of improving their quality of life within society.

"The Love that Transcended, Today Transforms Lives" It all began in the silence of a hospital room, facing the greatest adversity that parents can face. It was there, during the long battles and care of our son Brandon Manuel, where we found our true vocation. We understood then that pain is not the end of the story, but the birth of an unbreakable empathy. In February 2020, we decided that the tears shed and the infinite love we received from Brandon should become a beacon of hope for others. Thus was born the Fundación Brandon & Ernest. From the first day, we set out to extend a hand to those facing the most difficult storms, channeling that legacy of love to sustain those who needed it most in our community. Looking back, we see a path traveled with the heart: patients in recovery, people in group homes, and those with disabilities who thanks to solidarity recovered their independence. We became a bridge between wills, demonstrating that the generosity of Veracruz society transforms lives when it is channeled properly. Today, that love that transcended the walls of a hospital lives on. It is reflected in every wheelchair delivered, in every face restored, and in every story rewritten. CURRENT:

At the Fundación Brandon & Ernest, we conceive adversity not as a limit, but as the catalyst of social innovation. We channel the legacy of Brandon Manuel to build bridges of development, equity, and dignity. We transform empathy into high-impact programs. From clinical accompaniment and reintegration in group homes, to the development of skills that return autonomy to persons with disabilities. We are an ecosystem of wills that channels corporate and civil generosity toward tangible solutions. Solidarity, today, is the greatest investment in the future of Veracruz. We invite leaders, institutions, and agents of change to join a network that not only assists, but empowers and rewrites futures.

Transforming lives: We believe that true success in our foundation is measured by the positive impact it leaves on people and society. We believe that true social development is not an act of charity, but an act of justice. At the Fundación Brandon & Ernest A.C., we change lives in vulnerable communities, channeling our 5 programs and tangible opportunities toward those who need it most in the municipalities.

We transform philanthropy into sustainable development, our immediate help transcends, generating a tangible impact, through the five programs comprehensively aligned with the UN 2030 Agenda. We do not only deliver essential resources; we build solutions that dignify lives, strengthen vulnerable sectors, and spark sustainable development in the localities we visit and support. We continue growing, with a solid base and deep commitment in our 5 programs which are:

Program 1 - Delivery of Wheelchairs to disabled persons.

Program 2 - Delivery of "Dinners for all."

Program 3 - Delivery of Clothing or Dress to vulnerable and low-income persons.

Program 4 - Delivery of Toys in vulnerable and low-income communities.

Program 5 - Delivery of Food Pantries/Groceries to vulnerable and low-income persons.

Our commitment has allowed us to consolidate our institutional standing. We have the CLUNI and Donataria Autorizada (Authorized Donee) status, and we have obtained the recognition of CEMEFI, an institution that endorses our good practices and reaffirms our Accreditation in matters of transparency, social work, and the real impact we generate in society.
