Founded in 2006, Friendship Luxembourg is the first of the Friendship International entities to come into being (followed by the Netherlands, France, the UK and Belgium). This European platform allows Friendship Bangladesh to connect with potential donors and provides it with a support structure in terms of human resources, research & development and fundraising, Friendship works with vulnerable people in remote communities of Bangladesh in the fields of Health, Education, Income Generation, Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Management, Inclusive Citizenship as well as Cultural Preservation. The support of Friendship Luxembourg is far from being limited to financial support. Over the years, a multidimensional partnership has been developed, combining technical assistance, skills sponsorship, volunteering and exchanges of best practices with various Luxembourg companies.
