The Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) was founded in 1990. It is an independent, non-profit organization, and the largest non-governmental source of funding for science in Poland. The mission of the FNP is to support outstanding researchers and research teams, innovative projects, and the commercialization of inventions and research discoveries. Scientific excellence is the most important criterion in awarding support by FNP. The FNP offers prizes, fellowships and grants for researchers of every age and at every stage of their career, across all fields of inquiry. The START Programme are stipends for early-career researchers. The Foundation awards about 100 stipends every year. The most talented young scientists in Poland need support at the start of their research career! Thanks to your support, we will be able to continue assisting the best applicants. Together we will create better working conditions for young scientists in Poland, and maybe spur them on to achieve success worthy of a Nobel Prize. Sharing financial support for the START programme is an opportunity to offer young talented people a tangible vote of confidence. We can persuade them that while continuing at the university or taking up work in a research institute, they can also achieve their personal and professional goals. Any contribution, however modest, to future START programme stipend winners is meaningful to us. The Foundation will continue to cover all administrative costs. Each researcher contributes a piece to solving the puzzle of various challanges we are facing. Research results may remove many different barriers and obstacles in our lives. Donate now for a better future of all of us and next generations!
