Fondazione Biblioteca Capitolare di Verona

For centuries, the Biblioteca has been under the care of the Canons of Verona Cathedral. The changing requirements for the protection and enhancement of the holdings required an evolution of the organisation. For this reason, in 2019, the Fondazione Biblioteca Capitolare (FBC) di Verona was established to ensure an efficient and dynamic management capable of supporting another phase of transformation for the world's oldest library still in activity, thus ensuring its continuity in the long term. Founders of the FBC are the Canons and the company Bauli SPA. To meet the 'good governance' requirements expressed by modern stakeholders, the FBC has implemented a government suitable for the coordination of operational plans with clear and sustainable goals. A virtuous governance is an added value for the FBC and will ensure the achievement of its strategic objectives, ensuring financial stability and reputation.
