Expand the Trail Crew's Equipment

Help Florida Mudcutters purchase two heavy-duty STIHL KM 131R Kombi trimmers so more volunteers can work safely and efficiently during trail maintenance days! Every mile of trail at Caloosahatchee Regional Park (CRP) that you ride exists because volunteers showed up with gloves, shovels and a love for the outdoors. The Florida Mudcutter are those volunteers. We turn out to build and maintain the trails that our community loves. Today we are asking for your help to put more tools in more hands. What We're Raising For   Our goal is to raise $1,600 to purchase 2 complete professional grade trimming setups, each consisting of: STIHL KM 131 R Kombi powerhead - a versatile, commercial duty engine platform built for all day use in demanding conditions FSS-KM straight shaft trimmer attachment - for precise reach along trail edges, roots and tight corridors Autocut 36-2 mowing head with .130 trimmer line - heavy duty line for thick Florida vegetation STIHL'S Kombi system is modular, repairable, and built to last, an investment that will serve Southwest Florida trails for years to come. Why We Need This Trail work days are only as productive as the equipment and volunteers available. Frequently our volunteer turnout outpaces our tool supply, motivated volunteers show up ready to work and we don't have enough equipment to put everyone to use. Two additional trimming setups will allow us to utilize our volunteers time more effectively by running additional crews and being able to cover more ground in the time they are there. How Can You Help We're asking trail users, outdoor enthusiasts, and anyone who has ever enjoyed the well-maintained trails at CRP to contribute what you can. No amount is too small - and every donation puts us meaningfully closer to the goal. Every dollar raised goes directly toward equipment. The Florida Mudcutters are an all-volunteer organization. Your contribution becomes trail. The Florida Mudcutters are a 501c3 organization and your contribution may be tax deductible. Thank you, The Florida Mudcutters
