ETM-LA restores music to under-resourced schools. We believe all children deserve a well-rounded education that includes music.
Education Through Music-Los Angeles provides sequential comprehensive music as a core subject in under-resourced schools in order to nurture students' social-emotional wellness, academic achievement, motivation for school, creativity, and overall development. We partner with Los Angeles County school districts and leaders to implement school-wide music programs, including music instruments, curriculum, dedicated music teachers, ongoing teacher training, and community engagement for long-term sustainability. ETM-LA commits to furthering racial and social justice through equity in education - ensuring that all children, particularly those from historically marginalized communities, have access to quality music instruction as part of a well-rounded school experience. www.etmla.org
