Edified Generation Rwanda (EGR) is a non-profit organization working in Rwanda to secure the future of the next generation through providing access to a holistic education. The story of our existence is one of gratitude, the Founders are the former beneficiaries of the First Lady of Rwanda's Foundation known as the Imbuto Foundation that supported our education. After graduating, driven by the heart of giving back to the community, we Founded Edified Generation Rwanda. We are also registered in the United States of America, Washington DC, as a tax-exempt organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3). Our main focus is on improving the lives of children and youth in Rwanda through Education, ICT, Entrepreneurship and Social Economic programs. At Edified Generation Rwanda, we firmly believe that education is the key to a brighter future. We advocate for equal access to educational opportunities, regardless of one's socio-economic background. Our work goes beyond academic excellence. We strive to instil a sense of pride, resilience, and self-worth in the community we serve. We believe that by empowering them, we can create a ripple effect of positive change that will benefit Rwanda and the world as a whole.

This ICYIZERE Scholarship Project strives to break down the barriers that hold back the potential of struggling children. WHY IKIZERE SCHOLARSHIPS? Through the ICYIZERE Scholarship Project, we have the opportunity to profoundly impact the lives of academically gifted children in need. Our main goal is to provide educational scholarships to these bright young minds who come from economically disadvantaged families. The project helps to cover their tuition fees, and other essential resources, ensuring that they have all the necessary tools to succeed academically. In addition, we are committed to creating a nurturing environment that fosters personal and social development for our beneficiaries. Through mentorship programs, we aim to shape well-rounded young minds who are not only academically talented but also equipped with the necessary life skills to thrive in their future endeavours.
