Edified Generation Rwanda (EGR) is a non-profit organization working in Rwanda to secure the future of the next generation through providing access to a holistic education. The story of our existence is one of gratitude, the Founders are the former beneficiaries of the First Lady of Rwanda's Foundation known as the [Imbuto Foundation](https://www.imbutofoundation.org/) that supported our education. After graduating, driven by the heart of giving back to the community, we Founded Edified Generation Rwanda. We are also registered in the United States of America, Washington DC, as a tax-exempt organization under IRC Section 501(c)(3). Our main focus is on improving the lives of children and youth in Rwanda through Education, ICT, Entrepreneurship and Social Economic programs. At Edified Generation Rwanda, we firmly believe that education is the key to a brighter future. We advocate for equal access to educational opportunities, regardless of one's socio-economic background. Our work goes beyond academic excellence. We strive to instil a sense of pride, resilience, and self-worth in the community we serve. We believe that by empowering them, we can create a ripple effect of positive change that will benefit Rwanda and the world as a whole.
