Feed a Child Today: Congo Connect and Thrive School Meals Appeal Every school day, Congo Connect and Thrive serves meals to more than 450 students. For many of these children, this meal is the one they can count on. It gives them the energy to learn, focus, and grow. Right now, our food supplies are running short. Without new support, we may not be able to keep feeding every child who depends on us. Just $1 a day feeds one child. $1 provides a meal for one student for one day $5 feeds a child for a full school week $450 feeds every student in our program for a day $2,250 keeps meals going for all 450+ students for a week A full stomach changes everything. Overcrowded Classrooms? Help Congo Connect Build Hope! Congo Connect & Thrive (www.congoconnect.org ) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Goma, North Kivu, DR Congo. Our mission is to empower women and children by supporting small enterprises, education, environmental sustainability, and women’s health initiatives. Recently, we constructed three emergency classrooms to provide free education to 90 internally displaced and low-income children who previously had no access to education.The Challenge:  The demand for education greatly exceeds our current capacity. Our classrooms are overcrowded with 176 children squeezed into just three small spaces.
