One in five children with cancer lives in poverty. For families already facing the fear of a diagnosis, the cost of traveling to treatment can become an overwhelming barrier. Even the best cancer care cannot help a child who cannot get there.

Compass to Care removes that barrier by funding transportation to cancer treatment for children across the country. Whether it is a tank of gas, an Uber ride, airfare, lodging, or parking, we help families get their children to the care they need, when they need it.

Your gift can make treatment possible. One ride, one trip, one mile at a time, you help give a child hope for a healthier tomorrow.

Help children in poverty fight cancer.

Getting to the doctor is hard for many kids with cancer, especially those from families who don’t have a lot of money. Children often have to travel far to one of just 200 special hospitals in the U.S. that treat kids with cancer. These trips happen often, which can make it tough for families to keep up with bills, buy groceries, or even put gas in the car. Without a way to get to the hospital, some kids miss important treatments, which can make it harder for them to get better. We need your help! Your support will provide gas, Uber/Lyft rides, flights, and parking costs. With your help, no child fighting cancer will have to miss their treatment just because their family can’t afford to get them there.
