Support for young meditators-in-distress
Young people are meditating more than ever before. For many, this is great! For others, meditation can have unexpected adverse effects. We know from our research that young meditators more likely to experience meditation-related adverse effects (Goldberg et al. 2022) but are also least likely to get the support they need because of financial instability. In our "30 under 30" campaign, we’re raising $30k to support meditators-in-distress under the age of 30. 100% of donations go to support one-on-one peer consultations, support groups, research-based information for meditators-in-distress under the age of 30 Cheetah House by the numbers:
