At Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska, we believe every young person has incredible potential. Through mentoring, we help youth build confidence, strengthen relationships, and develop the skills they need to thrive.

Research shows that children with mentors are:

• More confident in their schoolwork
• Better able to build positive relationships with family and peers
• 46% less likely to begin using illegal drugs
• 27% less likely to begin using alcohol
• 52% less likely to skip school

Every match between a Big and a Little is carefully created and professionally supported to ensure safety, consistency, and long-term success.
