AE’s two cutting-edge, integrated programs provide a springboard for underserved entrepreneurs to turn their business vision into reality and make a profound contribution to their communities.

THE BUSINESS ACCELERATOR AT THE EQUITY LAB equips low-income and historically marginalized entrepreneurs with essential business skills and financial education through online courses, personalized mentoring, and ongoing support. We meet folks where they’re at, cultivating self-esteem and confidence while putting the tools for wealth-building directly into their hands with financial literacy and best business practices. We're here to help no matter how long each client has owned their business, customizing our mentoring to where they are on their business journey and what support is best for them to thrive.

AE'S COMMUNITY LOAN FUND follows best practices in character-based lending by prioritizing character over credit and offering flexible terms. We don’t require collateral, require a down payment, or base a decision on a credit score. Our loans go up to $20,000, to be paid back within 5 years at 8% interest, and we lower each client’s interest rate by 2% annually as long as they keep making payments. We care about each person's drive, vision, business model's strength, and impact on our community.
