Help Build a Tech High School
Zawadi Yetu is a school in rural Kenya preparing children for the digital economy. Students start computer classes in first grade, and by eighth grade they are coding, typing over 100 words per minute, and building websites. Sharon, a seventh grader, types at 130 words per minute. Bowen, in eighth grade, creates financial spreadsheets and tech videos that earned him recognition among Kenya’s Top 100 most influential young people. The problem is that no local high school can match their skills. We are raising $240,000 to build a tech high school where they can continue advanced learning, access internships, and prepare for remote work. We have already raised $192,000 and need your support to close the gap and open the school for our first class of future tech leaders.
