With programs in Prevention, Restoration and Justice, Without Permission is leading the fight to end sex trafficking in the Central Valley of California.

Through collaborative relationships with law enforcement, health care providers, social agencies and school districts, Without Permission has provided more than 1,100 victims of sex trafficking with holistic Restoration services including counseling & support groups, intensive trauma-informed case management, 24 hr crisis support line, housing and employment assistance, and support for daily needs such as transportation, meals, furniture, clothing, and more.

In addition to restoration work with survivors, Without Permission offers Prevention education throughout the community. WP's prevention training has prepared thousands of community members- including law enforcement officers, educators, social workers, health care workers, parents - to identify victims suspected of being under control of a trafficker and get them into services. Through partnership with local school districts, Without Permission has been able to reach over 40,000 high school students - the most vulnerable targets of traffickers' tactics - empowering them to protect themselves and their friends from exploitation.

Without Permission's Justice department includes the Commercial Sexual Exploitation Diversion (CSED) program for adults arrested for prostitution with a sex trafficking history or at high risk of trafficking exploitation. In partnership with the DA's office and the state of California, this new program has already reached an 85% graduation rate in 2025. The CSED program aims to reduce recidivism and re-exploitation through an intensive, evidence-based psychoeducational program and simultaneous intensive personal and practical support to begin building a new life. Graduates of the CSED diversion program can stay connected with WP's Restoration services for as long as they want after completing the CSED program.

Ending sex trafficking requires a cohesive, community-wide focus and highly coordinated response. Without Permission has been building this response and leading strategy for the Central Valley since 2012. WP depends on the generosity and intentional support of our community to continue this fight and expand to every corner of the Central Valley until we create a community so hostile to traffickers, they no longer target our kids or try to exploit their victims in our communities.
