United for Baby was founded by Shameka Huff in 2021 after having several pregnant foster youth placed in her home with no supplies, equipment, or knowledge of infant care. Ms. Huff became aware quickly that these young ladies could only get assistance for formula and food, but not the needed supplies to care for their baby; so she took charge of assisting them in getting the needed diapers and supplies to properly care for their children. Shameka knew that as these young ladies left her home and went out on their own the need would still be there and they needed a reliable resource for support, infant care, and advice; United for Baby was created to help fill the needs of these families.

Emergency Diaper Assistance for the Smallest Citizens
Help babies get the basic essentials they need to stay healthy, clean, and dry! The United for Baby Emergency Diaper Need Program is dedicated to addressing the urgent diaper needs of low-income families residing in rural areas. Many families in these communities struggle to afford an adequate supply of diapers for their infants and toddlers, leading to health risks and added financial strain. This program ensures that these families have access to clean and safe diapers during times of emergency or crisis, promoting the well-being and dignity of the children.
