Theatrical Outfit

Theatrical Outfit is an Atlanta-based professional theater company whose purpose is to provide our diverse audiences, actors and artists with a rich theater experience and produce works that stimulate thoughtful discussion. Intentional in our use of local talent to tell “stories that stir the soul,” we often draw from classic and contemporary literature that features themes that are both relevant and revelatory. We have hailed our Southern roots by presenting the works of such authors of the American South as Truman Capote, Horton Foote, Harper Lee, Cormac McCarthy, Flannery O’Connor, John Kennedy Toole, Mark Twain, and Tennessee Williams. Though our emphasis on the work of Southern writers and composers tells the stories closest to home, our topic matter is universal as we give dramatic voice to spirituality, racial understanding and the multifaceted makings of the human condition.
