The Emma Foundation was created from one family’s search for hope.
After Emma became quadriplegic, her family moved across the country to give her access to the best care they could find. After two years without meaningful improvement, insurance stopped covering her rehabilitation.
But her family refused to give up.
They discovered regenerative treatments that offered a new path forward. Following treatment, Emma began experiencing changes her family had been hoping and praying for—including the return of sensation and movement. Her progress was significant enough that insurance ultimately reinstated her rehabilitation coverage.
Emma’s journey revealed a heartbreaking reality: promising treatments and therapies may exist, but for many families, the cost puts them completely out of reach.
The Emma Foundation exists to help change that.
We help children and young adults facing life-changing conditions access regenerative treatments at no cost to their families. By removing the financial barrier to care, we give families the opportunity to pursue treatments they otherwise may never be able to consider.
Every donation helps us give another child access to care—and another family a reason to hope.
