Lebanon Under Attack

Lebanon is once again facing a violent war and a severe humanitarian crisis. Israeli attacks have expanded across the South, the Bekaa, and Beirut’s southern suburb, bringing a rising number of casualties and forcing many families to flee their homes. For the first time in its history, Lebanon is witnessing the largest wave of displacement it has ever experienced, with almost one million people forced from their homes. Many families have taken refuge in schools and collective shelters, while others have sought safety with relatives or within host communities. Palestinian refugees are among the most vulnerable, as they already live in overcrowded camps and deteriorating homes, with more than 85 percent living below the poverty line.

Gaza’s Orphan Care Program (Noor)

Around 20,000 children have been left orphaned due to the recent war on the Gaza Strip. "Gaza’s Orphan Care Program" Taawon in partnership with Bank of Palestine Group launched the program to support 20,000 children orphaned by the war. The program aims to provide a comprehensive set of interventions to orphans, empowering them to live with dignity, become active members in their communities, and build a brighter future for themselves. Join us in shaping a brighter future for the orphans of Gaza. Support them and sponsor an orphan now: Sponsor an Orphan annually :  USD 2000. Sponsor an Orphan on a monthly basis: USD 167. Every donation has a meaningful impact. Our vision is to empower orphaned children to live a normal life and to pursue their aspirations and dreams for a better future. At Taawon, we have always believed that the future of orphans in Gaza is our collective responsibility. Over the last 15 years, Taawon has supported 4,261 orphans in Gaza. Taawon provides a holistic model for orphans, encompassing educational, financial, and health support to the child, based on their individual needs. This is done in collaboration with a network of civil society organizations who specialize in these areas.
