Slice Out Hunger

Slice Out Hunger is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has raised over $2.7M to fund hunger and disaster relief initiatives by building strong connections between members of our pizza community and their neighbors in need across the US. Our organization operates on three guiding principles:

• Everybody is important
• Everybody deserves basic human services
• Everybody loves pizza

We recognize the powerful imagery of pizza as the ultimate sharing food and built on this concept to transform the simple act of enjoying pizza into a powerful tool for social change. We operate using a two-pronged approach; by mobilizing a network of over 700 Pizza Partners who donate pizza to hunger relief organizations in their community and by fundraising to purchase pizza from independently-owned pizzerias for shelters and soup kitchens across the country.
