At Serve Society, we are dedicated to creating lasting change within the Tucson community by providing no-cost haircare services to individuals facing homelessness, those in recovery, and other underserved populations. Our mission goes beyond just offering haircuts—we aim to foster a sense of dignity and belonging, empowering individuals to feel confident and supported as they rebuild their lives.
Since our inception, we’ve worked tirelessly to build partnerships with local recovery programs and shelters, offering mobile services that meet people where they are. Our team of professional volunteers brings compassion and skill to every event, knowing that even the smallest acts of service can have a profound impact.

ARTWORKS
Help Bring Confidence and Creativity to ArtWorks Artists Serve Society is partnering with ArtWorks —a creative arts program in Tucson that empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) through artistic expression, community, and personal growth. We’re raising funds to bring our mobile haircare unit to the ArtWorks campus for a special day of haircuts, makeovers, and professional portraits . For many of these artists, this will be their first time receiving a salon-quality haircut in a professional, inclusive space designed just for them. After their transformation, each artist will have a personal photo session to update their artist portfolios , helping them present themselves and their work with confidence. This event is about more than just a haircut. It’s about: Building self-esteem and personal pride Supporting visibility in the art and IDD communities Offering a day of joy, dignity, and creative celebration This fundraiser helps cover the operating and maintenance costs of the Serve Society mobile unit, so we can safely deliver these experiences directly to underserved communities like ArtWorks.
