Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital has been providing specialized care for children since 1941, when Mary Ranken Jordan established the facility as a convalescent home for children recovering from diseases like polio and tuberculosis. Over the decades, we’ve evolved to meet the changing needs of children with complex medical conditions, becoming Missouri’s first pediatric bridge hospital — a crucial link between acute care hospitals and home.
Today, Ranken Jordan continues its legacy of innovation and compassionate care, helping children with complex medical needs transition safely from hospital to home through our unique care model that combines medical expertise with a focus on normalcy and development.
