Peninsula Family Service strengthens the community by providing children, families and older adults the support and tools to realize their full potential and lead healthy, stable lives.
Our programs reach participants of all ages - from birth to 100+ years - in San Mateo and Santa Clara Counties. Through our nine Early Learning Centers, we provide low-income families with high-quality childcare, nutritious meals, and early therapeutic interventions for children who have experienced trauma.
Through our Financial Empowerment programs, we provide financial workshops, credit building lending circles, and prepaid debit cards for teens and adults seeking to improve their financial wellbeing.
Our Older Adult Services serves older adults through low-cost and reliable transportation, peer counseling for individual and group support, technology workshops and trainings, and a vibrant community center for older adults to improve their health, independence, and quality of life.
Our Youth Workforce Development program provides teens and young adults access to certifications, trainings, career development support, and equipment to enter careers in skilled trades. PFS also supports older adult job seekers with skill building, resume development, job search coaching, and specialized workshops and networking.
