Paris Basketball Foundation

The Paris Basketball Foundation, funded by the Paris Basketball Club, has a global mission to implement programs and support projects for underserved youth. Building on the success of its funding club and its players, strongly committed to the discipline associated with basketball, the foundation aims to conduct and finance initiatives for the common good across the social, cultural, humanitarian, and sports sectors.

The Fonds de Dotation will focus on five key pillars:

-Promoting diversity and inclusion for women, girls, and underserved communities,

-Supporting long-term education for young people, including, but not limited to, young athletes,

-Addressing health and mental well-being for all,

-Encouraging environmental responsibility,

-Empowering social behavior and community connection in Paris and its surrounding areas.

The Foundation will develop programs based on these pillars, including but not limited to:

-OneTeam Program: A basketball-based integration program for young refugee minors, running from October to June, and supporting over 150 beneficiaries.

-Paris pour elles' Program: An equal-opportunity initiative for young girls, focused on empowerment through sports activities, inspiring meetings, and workshops.

-Heroes of the Game Program: A platform to promote nonprofit actors and leaders in the Greater Paris region by giving them visibility within the Paris basketball community, such as presenting their activities on game days and building partnerships.

-Ici Tout Commence Program: A program aimed at schoolchildren in the Greater Paris area, with workshops that empower them to become healthy global citizens, combining sports, ecology, nutrition, and more.

The Paris Basketball Foundation plans not only to manage its own programs (mentioned above) but also to fund external players working in these fields. To this end, it will assemble a diverse and experienced selection committee to guide and oversee the grant-making, which will expand alongside fundraising opportunities.
