Outschool.org is a non-profit that provides education classes to young, promising Palestinian refugees globally. In the U.S., we support under-resourced communities access innovative, impactful learning experiences. We provide navigation support to increase low-income families' access to public education funding programs such as microgrants and ESAs, and we provide free access to cutting-edge products through our Collective Impact Fund. Outschool.org’s programs prioritize family and learner choice and develop academic achievement, love of learning, and sense of belonging.

Outschool.org formed in March 2020 to address financial barriers to virtual learning during COVID. Now, we're laser-focused on ensuring that the majority of underserved families who are looking for alternatives and additions to traditional K-12 schooling can have access to high-quality educational resources aligned to their interests and needs.

Parent Choices for Students

Did you know that the Arkansas LEARNS Act established the Education Freedom Account (EFA) program? EFA is a school choice initiative designed to empower parents by providing funding for students enrolled in private or homeschool settings. While this is a great option for many, it also raises questions about students whose families have chosen to remain in the public school system. What happens when a school is still in the process of improvement or facing financial struggles? While we hope those schools are making progress, the reality is that meaningful change takes time. So, why not also give public school families the option to supplement  their child’s education during that transition period? With traditional funding being stretched and EFA redirecting some resources, public schools may face even more challenges—which ultimately affects students. Regardless of where they attend school, every student in Arkansas deserves access to quality educational opportunities. That’s why I’ve been researching platforms like Outschool, which offers an amazing variety of online classes and enrichment activities for students. It supports both in-school and out-of-school learning with flexible, engaging options. Imagine if any Arkansas parent—regardless of income—could access these resources without barriers. That’s the heart behind this fundraiser: to help provide access to supplemental education for students in public schools. The fundraiser is for Outschool and will act as my proposal to Outschool to direct those fund raised to Arkansas families that may not have the opportunity to access supplemental education opportunities.  Your donation can make a difference. Help give a student the gift of learning.

I gave because as a veteran Outschool educator I've seen the massive & positive experience that the charitable arm of Outschool, Outschool.Org, has made on kids & teens whose families could not otherwise afford such a high quality education...
