Volunteers for Northwest Community Food pantry are young and middle-aged people who are smiling. One is wearing a winter coat and knit hat.

NW Community Food serves our food-insecure neighbors across Ward 3 in Washington, DC and beyond. Many long-time DC residents, as well as newer residents, are living on the edge. The pantry is working to fill this gap, serving 250-300 households with respect and dignity each week. We distribute fresh produce, other nutritious foods, household cleaning items, and personal hygiene items every weekend, rain or shine.

Our doors are open to all who need food. We do not require documentation to receive food or other items. Our pantry guests include frail elders, disabled veterans, refugees, and low-wage working families.
