Who we are
Next Level Recovery (NLR) is a nonprofit helping people in recovery, and the families who love them, build a life of meaning, connection, and stable work. We are becoming a Recovery Community Organization serving Marietta and greater Cobb County, Georgia, and we are working with the Georgia Council for Recovery on that path.
What we do
- Peer coaching: one-to-one support from trained peer coaches with lived experience.
- Support meetings and home groups: spiritual, not religious, community that complements 12-step and other pathways.
- Help finding resources: warm referrals to treatment, housing, health care, legal help, and workforce services.
- Family support: education and connection for family members and loved ones.
- Spiritual Intelligence Training: our curriculum builds four capacities: calm, connection, clarity, and meaning. It is non-clinical and open to people of every belief and every recovery pathway.
- Recover on Purpose: an 8-week, 16-hour program that follows the training. It focuses on career goals, skill building, reducing barriers, and stable employment.
How we're different
Many recovery supports meet urgent needs, and they are vital. NLR serves the next step: what comes after stability. We help people discover their strengths, find purpose, and move toward work and a life worth keeping. We also put families at the center, and we use assessments and media, including our Spiritually Healthy People podcast, to keep people engaged and learning.
Your support
Your gift helps us train and support peer coaches, run support groups and the Recover on Purpose program, offer learning materials to participants and families, and work toward a permanent home for our services.
Our approach
Our programs are peer-led, non-clinical, and respectful of every person's pathway to recovery. Participants who need clinical care are connected to licensed providers. We protect participants' privacy and consent.
