We provide high quality healthcare to more than 11,000 people annually in hundreds of rural, indigenous communities in Guatemala’s Central Highlands. Our Maya community health workers improve health and well-being by eliminating barriers to care such as language, culture, distance, and cost.
We continually measure, evaluate, adapt, and train to ensure that what we are doing works in the context of the communities we serve, and share what we learn through our Center for Indigenous Health Research, one of the leading contributors of scientific publications in Guatemala.
