At Maayan Academy, we provide a safe and nurturing space for young women (ages 14-19) who face life head on. They all share one thing in common: a desire to heal and move forward.
A Place for Healing
Healing isn’t about forgetting the past—it’s about finding strength in your own story. That’s why Maayan is a place of choice, not obligation. Every student here has made the decision to take an active role in their healing journey. We don’t take mandated clients, and we ensure that every girl who walks through our doors is in a stable place, ready to grow.
Our students come from all over the world and across the U.S. (Texas, Michigan, Maryland, New York, New Jersey, and more)— together, they create a powerful community of support, understanding, and transformation.
The Heart of Maayan – Our Team
Healing doesn’t happen alone. Our dedicated team walks alongside each student, guiding them with warmth, patience, and expertise.
🌿 Clinical Team – Led by our Clinical Director, our team includes seven licensed therapists and a social work intern, all specializing in trauma-focused therapy, including EMDR, CBT, DBT, somatic therapy, and more.
🏫 Academic Team – We understand that healing and education go hand in hand. Our academic staff provides a supportive and structured learning environment, helping students stay on track with their studies while prioritizing their well-being.
🏡 Dorm Team – Maayan isn’t just a school—it’s a home. Our dorm staff ensures that every student feels safe, supported, and cared for, creating a warm, family-like atmosphere where girls can thrive both emotionally and socially.
