Kinship United brings orphans, widows, and refugees into local churches and rescue centers in some of the most impoverished regions of the world. Kinship Projects are more than churches - they are long-term homes for orphaned children and widowed women to thrive together. Run by native pastors, they also host community feeding programs, clean water sources, worship services, medical clinics, and more for their community.
We are committed to the welfare of orphaned and separated children, providing them with a nurturing family environment within our Kinship Projects. We strive to recreate lost childhoods and forge strong bonds between children and their widow caregivers, avoiding traditional orphanage models. We build safe Church Homes for orphans and engage the whole village as their Kinship family.

In the Field: It all starts with the church. Indigenous pastor-led churches are the foundation of each Kinship Project. These native leaders understand the troubles and needs of their communities better than anyone.
A New Family: Kinship Projects include home environments for orphans and widows to live. Widows act as caregivers for the children in a loving, family setting.
Long-Term Impact: 100% of your donation enables Kinship Projects to offer long-term care and serve the community as relief centers, water sources, feeding programs, schools, medical clinics, and more.
Kinship United (a division of Warm Blankets Children's Foundation) was founded in 2000 and has enjoyed being identified as an orphan rescue operation for years.
At the heart of Kinship United is the desire to establish faith-based centers where orphaned children can become part of a "Kinship Family." We have shown the world that giving orphans and lost children a place to belong restores their childhoods in Christ. We feel privileged to unite hurting people with their local church, and we wouldn't be able to do it without our incredible supporters or our dedicated partners in outpost locations around the world.
