Hope Horizon Mental Health (HHMH) offers comprehensive mental and behavioral health services for children, families, and adults throughout Tulare County who have Tulare County Medi-Cal benefits. We also have grant programs that allow us to provide certain services to those with no insurance. For those referrals we are unable to open to our clinic, every effort will be made to make an appropriate referral to another public or private organization.

Specialty services include mental health assessment; individual, family, and group therapy; case management; psychiatry; crisis intervention and response. Specialty programs include Sexual Abuse Treatment (SAT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), First Episode Psychosis (FEP), Full-Service Partnership (FSP), Equine-Facility Psychotherapy, Out Loud Support Group (for LGBTQ+ youth), and Building Bridges (for parents experiencing perinatal or post-partum anxiety/depression).

Our Mission is to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive mental health services that nurture hope, strengths, and healthy relationships at home, school and in the community.

Our Vision is that our clients are happy, healthy, and empowered to achieve their highest potential; becoming self-reliant, accomplished, and able to determine and shape the future.

Support the Return of the Youth Firesetter Program

We're working to bring back the Support the Return of the Tulare-Kings Youth Firesetter Prevention & Intervention Program —a vital collaboration between local fire departments, Hope Horizon Mental Health, and community partners. This program provides education and supportive intervention for youth involved in fire-setting behavior, while engaging families and helping prevent future incidents. Unfortunately, this previously successful program had to pause during the pandemic shutdown. We’re now preparing to relaunch in Fall 2025. Your donation will help cover immediate startup costs—such as printed materials, snacks for participating families, and other essential costs associated with hosting our upcoming Fire Academy. With your support, we can bring this vital program back to life and work toward securing long-term funding to hopefully expand it to support implementation in communities across California.

Hope Fund Scholarship: A New Opportunity to Empower Youth

Hope Horizon Mental Health is excited to announce the launch of the Hope Fund Scholarship—a new initiative designed to support graduating high school students who have faced mental health challenges or received mental health care. This scholarship will prioritize current and former clients of Hope Horizon Mental Health, as well as other deserving youth in our community, who are pursuing college or trade school. We will begin awarding scholarships soon, providing financial assistance to help students overcome barriers and pursue their educational goals with confidence and hope. Your support will help us launch this important fund and make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people striving for a brighter future. Join us in giving hope and opportunity where it’s needed most.
