Building Homes. Brewing Hope. Our journey started with a passion for building—homes, futures, and brighter tomorrows. From constructing a daycare and orphanage in Mexico to restoring broken-down houses into dream homes, Henry and I have always loved turning vision into reality. From Mexico to Honduras, we’ve seen families working hard—yet still living without stability. A home is more than walls and a roof. It’s dignity. It’s safety. It’s the chance for children to dream and parents to hope for tomorrow. We’ve met the families. We’ve seen the need. And we believe together we can change lives—one home at a time. That’s why we said “yes” to helping build homes for indigenous coffee workers in Honduras. Families who harvest what fuels our mornings shouldn’t have to wonder if they’ll stay dry at night. Generous Ventures Projects (GVP) exists to bring safe, dignified housing to coffee worker families who labor faithfully yet often live in fragile, unsafe shelters. Our purpose is simple but powerful: to build homes that restore hope, strengthen families, and create lasting impact in their communities. The coffee industry is facing a growing crisis. More and more workers are leaving the fields because of low wages, extremely hard labor, and poor housing conditions . Without change, the very families who sustain the global coffee supply are being forced to abandon the work they know and love. That’s why we partner directly with local coffee farm owners to oversee the construction of these homes. This not only ensures each build is well-managed and cost-effective, but it also strengthens the relationship between farm owners and their workers—building trust, stability, and shared responsibility within the coffee community. Each GVP home is built to be strong, simple, and lasting —constructed with concrete block walls, a solid roof, windows for ventilation, and a locking door for security. While modest in size, these homes are safe, weather-resistant, and designed to provide a stable foundation where families can thrive for generations. With your help, we are currently raising funds to build homes for three hardworking coffee families in Honduras . Each family has a story marked by sacrifice and perseverance, yet all share the same dream: a safe place to call home.
