Founded at GDC in 2005 by a group of passionate women in gaming, WIGI has grown into a vibrant global community of over 50,000 industry professionals dedicated to fostering positive change and enhancing accessibility in the gaming industry.

WIGI champions a safe, inclusive, and diverse workforce in the video game, tabletop, and esports industries. Our mission is to cultivate resources to advance economic equality and diversity in the global games industry.

All programs run by WIGI are 100% free-to-access, eliminating financial barriers to access opportunities otherwise limited by marginalized groups. We seek support to run sustainable programming, empowering diverse candidates through mentorship, workforce training, and creating an actionable path forward to access career opportunities within the games industry.
