Gedi Village Foundation

Gedi Village Foundation is a Toronto-based registered charity founded to reimagine education through the Beehive Model — a community-rooted framework that centres social-emotional learning, nature immersion, and whole-community engagement for children in K–8. Our model brings together children, families, educators, and community partners as active participants in a child's development, moving beyond the traditional classroom structure.

Past and current activities include the Camp Gedi program, SEL curriculum development, community partnership building across Toronto, and a growing network of school pilots. We are in active development of a school model pilot in partnership with Toronto-area camps and schools, as well as international communities. Future activities include expanding the Beehive Model through Micro-Gedi Centre pilots in Canada, the US and globally, scaling our Camp Gedi programming, and deepening our major donor and foundation funding base to support long-term organizational growth.
