We host interviews with our heroes⸺from national climate advisor Gina McCarthy to activist Wawa Gatheru, Kendall Jenner, and Dr. Leah Stokes. We amplify the experts, grassroots organizations, solutionists, and frontline activists too busy doing the work to also worry about getting their message across on social media. That’s what we’re here for.
WHY WE DO IT:
The fossil fuel industry pours money to spread misinformation on social media because they know that polluting the collective conscience is an effective way to stall climate action. Big Oil spent $10 million on Facebook ads alone in 2020. In the decade from 2008 to 2018, they outspent climate groups 27-1 on ad campaigns—totaling almost $2 billion. It’s time to take a page from the devil’s playbook and harness it for good.
