Women in Africa (WIA) is the first international platform dedicated to accelerating the economic and social empowerment of African women across all sectors and generations.

Since 2016, WIA has built a vibrant and influential community of over 200,000 members across 54 African countries and the diaspora. Through training, mentoring, research, and advocacy, WIA supports women at every stage of their entrepreneurial and leadership journey — helping them gain the skills, visibility, and networks they need to thrive.

Our programs have already:

✨ Supported 20,000+ women entrepreneurs through targeted acceleration and mentorship initiatives
