Fainareti

Τhe Non-Profit Organization “Fainareti” was founded in 2006 in Athens, Greece aiming at the promotion of the mental and physical health of pregnant women and their families. Our vision is to empower new families through the support of expectant and new parents across Greece, in order to ensure that every baby gets the best start in life. Our main goal is to promote best health practices, such as antenatal education, natural labor, breast-feeding, physical exercise in pregnancy, as well as early screening and treatment of perinatal mental disorders.

Moreover, Fainareti aims to design, develop and implement any kind of programs and actions in the crucial fields of reducing mother and infant morbidity and mortality, child poverty, family planning, protection of human rights, gender equality and gender-based violence.
