At the Cigarra Foundation, we believe that every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and dream—no matter their circumstances. Many of the children we serve in Ciudad Bolívar come from families affected by poverty and internal displacement. Your support gives them more than care; it gives them a safe space, warm meals, emotional guidance, and access to arts and education that spark creativity and confidence. When she first joined, she was quiet and hesitant to speak in front of others. But with encouragement, guidance, and plenty of rehearsal time, Alison found her voice—both literally and figuratively. She recently starred in the lead role of our play "Asi Canta Cigarra", lighting up the stage with confidence and joy. Now, she dreams of a future in theater and has been accepted into a university program to pursue her passion. These are the kinds of transformations your support makes possible.
