The Busch Wildlife Sanctuary campus sanctuary and working-wildlife-hospital offers eager minds of all ages one of the most unique and memorable education experiences available. We are a distinctive refuge that combines a community nature center with a wildlife hospital and rehab services. We believe environmental education is important, since our founding over 2 million guests have participated in our education programs highlighting the need for environmental conservation and protection. The Sanctuary has rescued over 70,000 sick, injured and orphaned wild animals since it's founding in 1983.
Throughout the Sanctuary, nature trails lead visitors through pine flat woods, oak hammocks, and cypress wetlands. Along the trails are wildlife habitats exhibiting a variety of animals from bald eagles to Florida panthers to black bears and alligators. The Sanctuary has something for everyone; young and old alike. From story time for parents with toddlers to family night-walks, our education activities appeal to a broad range of people. We are rated #1 on Things To Do in Jupiter by Tripadvisor.com. Open 362 days/year, our annual visitation of 200,000+ includes guests from all around the world.
