Established in 2022, the Boğaziçi University Foundation is based on the principle of improving the contributions of universities to humanity, primarily through institutional governance support for all higher education institutions, including Boğaziçi University itself. In this context, the foundation's programs and objectives encompass the economic, social, and cultural components, as well as the material and moral support needs, of all higher education institutions, their alumni, the university's academic body, departments, and university staff. The foundation aims to develop and disseminate its work, focusing primarily on Boğaziçi University and all higher education institutions and their members, in a way that increases global well-being, to improve education and training, and to contribute to scientific, social, cultural, and technological fields. The foundation aims to promote education and training through projects and collaborations undertaken nationally and internationally by all higher education institutions, primarily Boğaziçi University; and to provide all kinds of material and moral support for research, study, development, and application studies. Our foundation operates under tax-exempt practices registered with the Republic of Turkey.In this context, the foundation has been providing student scholarships since its establishment. As of the end of 2025, the total amount of scholarships provided has reached 40,966,319.50 TL. Along with these scholarships, the support provided to Boğaziçi University laboratories, service vehicles, and personnel employment has reached 105,787,386.62 TL as of the end of 2025. In addition, our foundation has constructed a male student dormitory to provide affordable accommodation for students and is continuing the construction of a female student dormitory. Furthermore, it continues to host many international events such as law conferences and finance summits.Our foundation manages multi-dimensional fundraising activities encompassing corporate collaborations, project development, and fundraising processes to ensure the financial sustainability and development of Boğaziçi University in the future. With these resources, we aim to realize investment opportunities that will advance the university's physical infrastructure, social facilities, and human resource capacity. We strengthen Boğaziçi University's education and research capacity, maximizing academic productivity. We implement mechanisms to increase the effectiveness of academics in international literature and global platforms, while providing strategic support for the sustainable development of educational quality and academic excellence. In line with Boğaziçi University's identity, we encourage high-quality studies that shape scientific literature; and through technology transfer and innovation-focused support programs, we advance Türkiye's academic expertise and sustainable development goals to global standards.
