I would compare my music with white light which contains all the colors. Only a prism can extract the colors and make them visible to us. The prism could be the consciousness of the listener.” - Arvo Pärt

The Arvo Pärt Centre is the personal archive of composer Arvo Pärt, created to preserve and explore his creative heritage. Located in Laulasmaa, Estonia, the Centre offers a space for listening, study, and reflection where music, silence, and thought meet.

At the heart of the Centre is the archive: an ever-growing collection of manuscripts, recordings, documents, and writings. It serves as a foundation for research and learning, and offers a deeper understanding of the composer’s music, its message, and its wider cultural and spiritual context.

We aim to become an open meeting place for musicians, musicologists, researchers, schools, and all who are drawn to the work of Arvo Pärt and its origins. Through public programmes, residencies, educational initiatives, and performances, we create meaningful ways to engage with the composer’s work and legacy.

Your support helps us to continue this work by preserving the archive, expanding access to knowledge, and passing this heritage on to future generations.
