About Victoria Heartstrong Organization
Founded in the Philippines in 2023 by Monica Maralit, the Victoria Heartstrong Organization was born out of a deeply personal legacy—one inspired by Monica’s grandmother and mother, who believed that education is the greatest equalizer. They taught that when girls are given the chance to learn, they grow into strong, self-reliant women who uplift not just themselves, but entire communities.
At the heart of our organization is a simple belief: every girl deserves a chance to rise. No matter her background or circumstances, she has the right to dream, to lead, and to shape her future. Our work is more than just providing scholarships—it’s about helping young women believe in their own potential and giving them the tools to thrive.
Our Vision
To raise a generation of educated, empowered women who inspire, lead, and contribute meaningfully to their communities. By nurturing their potential, we aim to spark a ripple effect—one that fuels nation-building and creates a lasting pipeline of women leaders for the Philippines.
Our Mission
We support exceptional young students by offering financial assistance and a range of developmental programs. Through scholarships, mentorship, and practical life lessons, we equip them with the confidence and capability to chart their own paths. We believe education is the first step toward economic empowerment and long-term change.
Our Goal
To grow from 0 to 60 high school and college scholars over five years—reaching deeper into under-resourced communities, starting in Metro Manila and expanding to other parts of the country.
Who We Serve
Our scholars are female students enrolled in public high schools or colleges (where tuition is free) who meet the following criteria:
- Strong academic performance (minimum grade of 85%)
- Demonstrated financial need
- Good moral character and behavior
Beyond monthly financial support, we offer year-round enrichment programs that foster personal growth, leadership, and resilience.

We believe learning extends beyond the classroom. That’s why we organize trips that allow our scholars to broaden their worldviews and envision new possibilities.

- Company visits such as Safeway Philtech and Fujitsu Philippines
- College campus tours
- Art, science, and history museums
- Community immersion experiences
Internships
To bridge the gap between school and real-world experience, we partner with donor companies to provide summer internships. These opportunities give scholars hands-on learning, career exposure, and practical insight into their future professions.
Community and Celebration
Milestones matter. College graduates from our program will be honored in a special graduation ceremony, while scholars gather for a summer outing filled with bonding, reflection, and one final life lesson before the school year begins.
How We Fund Our Work
Our impact is made possible through the generosity of individuals and organizations who share our belief in the power of education.
One of our cornerstone fundraising efforts is Becoming Sheroes: Stories of Heartstrong Women, a book written by a circle of women friends and colleagues committed to empowering others. Featuring 15 inspiring real-life stories, the book celebrates everyday women who became heroes in the lives of those around them. It includes a foreword by former Philippine Vice President Atty. Leni Robredo.
We are also supported by corporate sponsors who provide both financial support and in-kind donations. To continue growing our reach, we are now partnering with experienced nonprofit professionals to help us scale our fundraising efforts and apply for grants.

Help A Heartstrong Scholar Achieve Their Dreams
Victoria Heartstrong Organization supports underprivileged high school and college girls in the Philippines by providing scholarships, mentorship, and life-enriching programs that empower them to complete their education and build brighter futures . Many of our scholars come from families who struggle to meet daily needs, making school expenses a heavy burden. With your support, we help ease that burden so these young women can stay in school and thrive. As we begin a new school year, the funds we raise will go toward monthly allowances to cover essential school needs—such as transportation, school supplies, project materials, and thesis defense fees for our college scholars. These allowances make it possible for them to focus on their studies without the added stress of financial hardship. Beyond financial aid, your donations also help fund our life lesson programs, which focus on topics like women’s health, financial wellness, leadership, and self-confidence. They also make possible exposure trips, campus tours for our high school scholars, and company internships for college students—giving our girls a chance to dream bigger, explore real-world opportunities, and prepare for the careers they aspire to. In addition, your donations help sustain a dedicated team of staff and volunteers who coordinate the scholarship program, check in regularly with the girls, and lead our mentorship efforts. With your help, we’re not just sending girls to school—we’re nurturing future leaders who will give back to their families and communities for years to come.
