The Samaritan Center is the only drop-in center in Simi Valley supporting the unhoused population and has been in business for over 31 years. As a 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation, the Samaritan Center provides compassionate and supportive services essential to human dignity. During the last couple of years, the Samaritan Center has seen an increase in the demand for assistance due to the economy, lost jobs, illness, in addition to the high cost of living. Our services are provided to the community five days a week. In addition to helping the unhoused population, the Samaritan Center has several homeless prevention programs which include a walk-up food pantry, utility assistance, and rental assistance programs. All our programs are funded by private individual donations and various grants (Foundations, City, & State).
