Upstate SORBA

Upstate SORBA is excited to be working on a dirt trail segment adjoining the Swamp Rabbit Trail—Rad Rabbit 2! This upcoming addition will be located between the train at the Sulphur Springs Road crossing and the “Girl on the Strider” statue behind Lakeview Middle School. Designed as a singletrack sidewalk, Rad Rabbit 2 will offer a fun and approachable mountain biking experience for riders of all skill levels, simulating the challenges of natural trail features in a beginner-friendly format. All donations raised for Upstate SORBA go directly to the maintenance and enhancements to benefit our local parks. Whether you can donate $1, $5, $10, or more, your support makes a huge difference in helping us maintain our local trail systems! Mountain biking advocacy and trails have come a long way over the years! With more and more diverse trail experiences that fit the skills of a variety of riders, donating to Upstate SORBA is an excellent opportunity to take part in our unique community built around our local trails. Quality trails and communities don’t magically appear, they happen because of Trail Champions like you and all the other dedicated members and volunteers. Great trails help continue to grow the great community mountain biking has built. Why donate to Upstate SORBA? While our portion of membership dues only cover a small portion of our operating budget, being a chapter of SORBA provides our organization with insurance coverage, resources for chapter development, and the ability to represent mountain bikers in high level advocacy conversations with state and regional officials. Some folks aren’t as interested in the regional and national advocacy and are more motivated to keep their dollars as local as possible. This is your opportunity to donate directly to Upstate SORBA, in which case we receive 100% of the donation.
